if i wana put like 5 or 6 compact flouros together in a line sort of thing how would i do that considering i need sockets or whatever for the light bulbs?
I think I would suggest getting a friend who's good with electrical wiring to have a look at what you mean. Better still, get him to wire it for you if you can. I wouldn't go messing with electrics if you're not TOTALLY sure you know what you're doing. I really mean that, my friend! Fires and electric shocks aren't funny and are amazingly easy to cause by an overlooked dodgy bit of wiring that you thought would be "ok". Stay safe, friend. Chill.
Buy 5 desk lamps and a 5 socket adaptor. Strip off the casings. Remake cases as you see fit. Alternatively you can buy bulb fittings and all the necessary bits from your local hardware store. This thread has a lot of good info about cf's and rewiring them. As Nifty says though, if you're not sure ask a friend who knows a little about it.
