Flourescent Bedroom Grow 11 plants, 1st prepared grow

    this is my first grow with all the proper lights, soil, ferts, techniques, etc from the start thanks to the info on this forum and info gathered from fellow growers,

    the grow room has a ceiling fan that sblows well enough to cool the temp down some
    and the heat comes through a vent in the floor, I also have a Negative Ion Air Purifier in my grow room,
    the temp stays about 75-80 degress Farenheit,
    humidity 35-45,

    6- 40w FL tubes
    2- 65w CFLs (arrived broken in the mail, new bulbs coming soon)
    11 bagseed plants
    miracle grow organic soil

    all these plants are from 7-10 days old from sprouting, I plan to transplant these seedlings into my organic soil mix consisting of
    1 tablespoon blood meal 12-0-0 per gallon of soil
    2 tablespoon Seaweed(kelp) per gallon of soil
    after they are 3 weeks old


    check it out ,any suggestions, recommendations, questions, very much welcomed

    I see.... a lot of room for improvements.
    First off, get those lights closer to the plants. 1 or 2 inch maximum distance.
    Yes, I know this means repotting them.
    Which is good, because you need to get 1 plant per pot.
    Multiple plants in 1 pot is no good, they'll compete for space/food/light/nutes and once those roots are intertwined underground, you'll never seperate the plants again without serious damage.

    Also, read some grow journals, please, use the Search function with fluro or CFL in the title.
    Then you'll read about ventilation, reflective foil, light spectra, temps, nutes, soil pH and lots and lots more.

    O yeah one more thing : stay away from Miracle Grow soil!
    Don't ask just don't use it. Search for PGAMG if you must know.

    how small / big is that grow space?.....

    you are going to HAVE to get all of those in their own pot (atleast 10 - 12" pots) to grow a mature plant...

    otherwise have fun with a root bound / entangled plant....(Witch could lead to death of the plant)

    thanks im goin to the Hardware/Garden store tommorow to get those improvements i will post new pics asap

    I kinda like that bed that you made for them. to get the jugs up higher just put a phone book or something under to get them closer to the light. post new pix asap!

    ...Atleast 6"" minimum.. I use 6"" pots and I get fine looking plants, but anyways everything looks good, except for the MG soil.. I've just had bad experiences with that soil..

    hope all turns out well!
