Why don't floros give good buds? My full spectrums give 3200 lumens apiece, but what do I need to get dense bud?
HPS has a far better spectrum for flowering than any type of fluro. Besides, the lumen output of a quality brand 600 watt HPS (Philips Son-T Plus for example) is around 52.000 lumen! Peace.
in other words, to attain that, you may want to look into an hps system. you'll get the buds with the floros, but you will basically only develop the topmost shoots. the bottom parts of the plant will suffer from lack of light.
----------------------- If you can only develop the top most shoots using floros, you may want to look into scrogging. Or atleast topping...... I would look into a 70 watt hps somewhere around you for cheap. (Or e-conolight.com) That or a south-facing window.
