I'm more than skeptical of "reports" of laced weed; this one plays into two ongoing scare campaigns - weed is the Devil's Lettuce and Fentanyl is everywhere. I too believe it is a way to scare people into soley shop at dispensaries and take away untaxed cannabis. We all remember razor blades in holloween candy. Heroin been around 20+ years ago when cannabis was illegal where was heroin laced weed be on the look out i don 't recall.
I would prefer that but I'm fine growing mine illegally. At my age a long prison sentence doesn't mean much.
A side story... I worked in my first career as a x-ray tech and I always volunteered to x-ray candy. In 21 years I found a grand total of zero things in candy, nada, nothing... it was always just a way to scare people.
Just as a FYI- "lacing" cannabis with other drugs is not new, and it does happen. The first ounce my late husband bought back in 1967 was laced with heroin. Granny
