  1. so i have two cool white bulbs, and one of them came loose, meaning the light was onll half bright for around 4 hours untill i noticed it and screwed it back in. I plated the plants yesterday, so they havent sprouted yet. What can I do to ensure this doesnt happen any more?

  2. that depends on y it came lose in the 1st place. did u do it up propa?

  3. yeah... i screwd it in properly and everything... i dunno. it woke me up cuz its right by my bed and it was buzzing, so i fixed it, and then a couple hours later it came loose again. I had problems when i was first installing it, that bulb had trouble getting it seated properly, so i think its just kinda fucked up.

  4. swap the two bulbs in the fittings, that mite cure it. if it dont then ur'll find out if the prob is with the bulb or the fitting. what ever is fuked needs replacing with good parts.

  5. ^^^^^Thats exactly what i was gonna say

  6. so far it hasnt given me any more problems, so i think its all good now

  7. well just to be sure i think you should duct that fucker. A little insurance wouldn't hurt anything. Especially if the buzzing was loud enough to wake you from your slumber, were talking fire hazard right there. Duct tape shouldn't melt or anything either... at least i think.

  8. duct tape is great, and well it will not melt... one thing i learned fast specially not on a cool floro bulb... if not jsut find the right spot for it and drop a nice big glob of super glue, it will be a bitch to get off to replace but it is worth it... also check your fitting, cause sometimes tehre are pieces of them that fall apart, wish i had one to show you on, but inside right where the bulb spikes go into, there is some metal there, if one of those isnt sitting right it will make the bulb not lock into place jsut check that out, unplug it first, and then fool around with it.
Thats the last thing i need is someone laying on the ground for stickign a crew driver into a flourescent socket. :) ZAP!
