High all. The wierdest thing is happening with my plants. It is from the same seeds as the last batch that grew nice and strong, but these ones have floppy tops. I have had to stake them up to keep 'em straight, but it's not the main stems that are the problem, just the tops. I am growing them in/outdoors 6hrs 190w fluoro 10hrs sunlight (strong aussie summer sun) 8hrs dark ...... in that order I'm only doing this to supplement the little light I have for them indoors. Has anyone encountered this problem before? I has been a little bit windy lately but I thought if anything it'd make them stronger, especially because the plants can 'rest' inside to strengthen at night. Any ideas?
correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't that add up to 26 hours and not 24?....as for the tops falling like that....if you've had to support them you could try to strengthen the stem by allmost crushing it, so as it will heal stronger than the before, kinda like if you lift weights you rip you're muscles and them and then they heal bigger and stronger......i'd look into it more at overgrow as to the process......Peace out...Sid
I think if you make sure they wear a BRA at night when you put them to bed they will perk up given some time. I had floppy tops from very fast grow on a plant and the bra did wonders. Yea I guess you can pinch them a bit or rub 'em as well. LOL
