Hey everybody! I relocated to Colorado & I am just about ready to start up my first grow! I am creating this journal since I know I am going to need all the help I can get. Secondly, I have not found a detailed grow journal with this system, I hope it can help others who want to start. Here is a list of my supplies (so far): Supplies: Flo N Gro 12 site system w/ Titan Oceanus Controller (2) 1000 watt Xtrasun 8" Air cooled Hoods (2) Hardcore Magnetic Switchable Ballasts Blue Lab Combo Meter Sunleaves rocks for the growing medium General Hydroponics Flora Series (Micro, Gro, Bloom) GH Ph Down GH KoolBloom GH CALiMAGic 8" Active Air Inline Fan Air stone for the 55 gal reservoir Clones: (4) Super Power [hybrid- Super Silver Haze x Power Plant] (4) Sensi Star [Indica] (4) Chernobyl [Sativa dominant hybrid- Train Wreck, Jack the Ripper, & Trinity After doing some research I have a few concerns that I am hoping to get advice on. I am using well water. The Ph is around 7.4 & the ppm's are around 240. I know this is high for the ppms, am I going to run into problems? Is there a way around an RO system? Here are a few pictures of what is set up. I still need to set up the ventilation system for the lights/room. There is a small window at each end of the attic. How can I cheaply bring air from outside into the room without risking any bugs? Will duct taping the duct right to the window screen be enough? I will try to update this journal at least twice a week depending on what is changing! Enjoy your day!
I'd go with ro.Depending on the psi of your well water you might need a booster pump aswell. If you cant do ro you could always try http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/products/nutrients/flora_series/flora_micro_hardwater/. or buy water from the store.
