I have phantom 2 ballast attached to a flip box. The lamp wasn't igniting after the flip, so I set the ballast on a heavy duty outdoor digital timer to turn off a minute before the flip, and back on a min after, but it still wasn't working so I tried 5 min before and after (10 min rest), still fails to work reliably. Could it be a problem with the flip box? It's a few years old now. Or is the ballast or lamp incompatible with this setup? Should I try 20 min rest (or more)? Anything else I should be checking?
