  1. UKIAH, Calif. (AP) - Three men may be wishing they'd thought of a better hiding place when they led police on a foot chase straight to their marijuana warehouse. Mendocino County Sheriff's Capt. Kurt Smallcomb said officers seized 700 pounds of processed pot and arrested 19 people at the marijuana operation in Ukiah on Saturday.

The chase began when the men were spotted in what police believed was a stolen car filled with marijuana.

Smallcomb said officers arrived to find the 1,800-square-foot industrial building filled with drying plants and processed marijuana.

The suspects range in age from 19 to 67 and mostly are Mendocino County residents.

The Department of Homeland Security has placed immigration holds on several suspects.
