Okay so my cat who is usually very clean got fleas from a neighbors dog (they left their dog untreated for a long time). They borrowed our vacuum too. Anyways I have used some flea killer on my cat, but the fleas are still there. I also sprayed the carpet with some flea killer stuff for furniture and carpets. Still fleas. Now I laid down some salt and baking soda on the floor and covered my cat in baking soda (it dehydrates the fleas). Does anyone else know any less harmful methods of getting rid of them? Also how long does it take?
