Did anyone watch the pilot? I thought the acting could have been better, but the plot is really cool. And I really want to find out who the guy at the end is who is awake.
yeah dude i liked it. coulda been better but pretty good compared to the other shit..did you see the preview for that new show comin up?!?! that like didnt have a name about the aliens?
it was on during one of the breaks when the show premiered...apparently aliens come down to earth and they look like us and shit and they say their friendly and it shows the earth(or so we think) like upgraded from them and everythings great and it shows some action scenes
Watched it today and think it is pretty good. Definitely something I am going to give a few more episodes to see if I can get into. I like the premise though, its something different.
I'm not a fan of lost, but that is what ABC is trying to do. Since Lost is going on its last season, they want to make a show that has enough allure to draw the fans who loved Lost to this one. Even though in an article it was explained that this show was going to be nothing like lost. No sci-fi aspects and whatnot.
I've been keeping up with it so far. The first time I saw a preview for it I thought it was a movie. The outline of it seems more like it would be made for a movie. Neat idea though. I haven't seen Lost so I can't make comparisons.
I've watched LOST the whole way through, and I feel like this is just like a bad wanna-be lost show. I feel like they went right into sci-fi territory from the pilot, but I liked lost because it kindof eaaaaaased into it before shit went nuts. Also on flashforward the acting is terrible
Im still on the fence with this show. Ive watched the first four episodes, and while the premise is interesting its just not really pulling me in. I would have to agree i think it has to do with the acting.
Yea the main guy and his sponsor are douches. I like the plot though. And it even sparked my interest in Lost.
There are two constant color themes in the show if you pay attention closely. Blue and red. This signifies that there are two possible future outcomes instead of just one. Meaning what everyone saw in their flash forward does not have to come true, as proven in the episode "the gift" when Gough commits suicide.
I absolutely LOVE this show. Will be getting the dvd set the first day it comes out just so I can (legally) watch the episodes back to back. I hope it'll get at least one more season but the overall concept seems like it really only needs one full season to tell the story otherwise it risks being dragged out. The only down side is I can never remember what day it airs and I have to be in a certain mood to watch it. Thankfully I have DVR for both those reasons. lol Might have to check out the book it was based on after it's finished its run. Not planning on comparing the two as I hear it's radically different (in a good way) to what direction they went with the show.
anyone keeping up with the show? i really like it but have yet to watch it high. i feel like theres so much information that i want to keep all straight and too serious to watch after smoking.
