I know, this is a really dumb question - but I just can't figure it out XD I have a 400 watt super-sodium lamp and I'm growing in a 4.5x4x2' closet with the door open for ventilation. My friend says the bulb needs to be a foot away from all surrounding surfaces, or it'll burn them - so I can't attach it directly to the ceiling or the walls. I don't have a reflector, I was planning on just using some foil. How should I attach the bulb from the wall or ceiling?? How do most people do it? I know it sounds stupid but I'd be grateful for any advice
Two hooks in the ceiling, chains, S hooks onto the lamp. This allows you to easily move the light up/down as needed.
Attach it to the wall and keep an eye on it. feel the wall once in awhile to see what the temp is. The next best bet would be the cieling.
Thanks guys, I'll try attaching some hooks to the ceiling, if you think it'd be safe fairly near the wall that'll at least make things easier.
