Fixing a Glycerin Tube, need help/advice

  1. So,

A careless acquaintance lifted my kind creations build a bong by the glycerin plug, effectively removing the plug.

I have decided to use a carbon patch from a motorcycle (something that you might use to prevent chain slap or scratching on the fuel tank) and some clear epoxy to fix it. The vast majority of the glycerin is still in the tube, so im not going to replace any of it.

I was wondering if this will be effective in plugging the hole, any other ideas out there? Im really looking for a method of plugging it that doesn't give anyone anything to grab onto, or in ths case, lift the 15lb bong with,

  2. ya id go to home depot or something and find some water resistant epoxy that can withstand some tempurature changes.

maybe a glassblower could fix it for you?

  3. Sorry to hear Freud. Didn't you just get that tube? Make him/her scoop you a new coil!

  4. put marine epoxy on the cap, and just put it back.

i'd recommend topping it off with glycerine if you lost any though, shits cheap.

  5. Yeah this piece was a birthday present ( to myself). The coil is intact, just the plug is removed.

I wanted to replace it with something flat so nobody cam grab on.

Where would I get that much glycerin?

    Thanks again.
