Little background story : My mother had reminded me recently that I have never eaten any fish in my life (I'm 19). I realized that and decided that every time I went to my local Publix, I would buy a nice frozen fillet or burger of the type of fish they had. So far I have tried 3 types : Swordfish, Salmon, and Grouper. Tonight I am trying Cod. Hey GrassCity, whats your favorite type of fish?
Loove fish. I'd hafta go with swordfish,, or wahoo. Idk, everything is good aha. Perch is a bomb freshwater fish too.
Shark steaks are probably my favorite. They're almost better than beef steaks. After that, there's tons of great seafood. Swordfish steak, tuna steak, crab legs, calamari (squid)... fuck there's waaaaay too many great choices. OP, you've entered an amazing world of flavor.
I don't know if it really counts, but alligator is fucking bomb. P.S. I can't believe I forgot salmon... I used to fish/eat that stuff all the time back in the day. It's the best smoked.
I hate fish, and all seafood really. Which is strange because my whole family loves it especially my mothers side. Since they're cajun is obvious.
I have had crab legs plenty of times, and Calamari is one of my favorites. I just never got around to eating "fish" fish. I bought some swordfish steaks like 2 weeks ago. They were pretty bomb.
