It seems to me that drooping leaves are usually caused by over or underwatering. I have to admit that the some of the people here freaked me out about overwatering to the point that I underwatered my plants and the bottom leaves were really droopy, (This was the first week of 12/12 with a indica/sativa mix) Even then I thought I had overwatered! My bf looked at them and said, those need watered, then he watered them even after I said not to, and he really watered them! I freaked out. But the saddest thing is that an hour later they popped right back!! I couldn't believe it. It's hard for me to admit when I'm wrong, but I was. Plants are 100% better now and I'll never let my soil go that dry again regardless of popular opinion.

  8. droopy leaves, moist soil and you still water? you are going to build up salts in the middle to bottom of the pot sooner or later with this schedule. You really don't want salts, hopefully this was dist or r/o water

  9. That's how I was checking the soil as well, which is, for lack of a better word, bullshit. I used to water them every other day, and everything was perfect. Then I listened to too many people that probably haven't grown anything, and let the pots get pretty dry before watering them, and then I started having problems. If you have good drainage, and good loose soil with lots of perlite, then chances of overwatering are slim if you just use common sense. If you water your plants every other day, you should be fine. If you're watering your plants three times a day, well then it's going to perish.
One last thing, it seems best to give them half the water, then go back about an hour later and give it the rest. If you just pour it all in, most of it won't do anything other than drain out. It's more difficult to evenly water big pots than it was with the smaller pots.

  16. Told you!! It's overwatering paranoia. I even thought my pots were heavy, but now they weigh a ton and the plants are amazing looking.
