Yesterday I went and bought some 2700k to mix things up a little. I have 4 6500k cfl and 4 2700k cfl 208 watts still the same setup as before. They seem to LOVE IT! They haven't been growing worth a flip and I was beginning to think it was the soil. Yesterday I recorded the sizes of the new growth and today I did the same. The new growth doubled in length from yesterday to today (1/2" yesterday, 1" today) I'm excited about these next few weeks. Already starting to see signs of lst working its magic. Another thing I'm very curious about... Why do my plants produce only 3 leaves per set? Is that going to change?

They are growing new leaves where I didn't even know they could grow new leaves at lol. Seriously. Just patiently waiting for a couple cola's to form. Then I'm gonna switch to 12/12. I think they are preflowering. They both have stipules at the node and that's new as of about 2 days ago. Just waitin on that new growth to get away from the main stem so I can see the nodes. I'm hopin for both females but wouldn't it be my luck if they were both males lol.

?????? "Colas to form?" Colas won't begin to form (a cola is a grouping of buds) until you're well into the flowering cycle. And if these were started from seeds I seriously doubt you'll see any signs of pre-flowers until a week or so after you flip to 12/12. What you're probably seeing are what's known as axial limbs my friend.
Sorry I was ways too stoned when I wrote that. I meant main stems. The things I am seeing are not axial limbs they arent leaves. They are stipules both male and female plants have them. http://db.tt/uLlz1HQk

The nice thing about indoor growing is that you get to choose when to flower, some people do a couple weeks of vegging, some do months. Just keep I'm mind that once you start flowering, the plant will double in size.

I'm about to start flowering either this Thursday or next Thursday I havent decided yet. But I have a question. I bought some bloom nutes and it's 10-52-10 is that too much? I've only used it once in a week 1/2 of what the box said and I water them both from 1 container so it's a 50/50 split or 1/4 potency. What are some signs of phosphorous overdo?
Oh yea. These babies are ready to flower. The one I didn't top has been making 11 finger leaves for the past 3 nodes. The one I topped I think is maxed out at 7 but only because it's trying to grow so many.
