Hi can anyone please give me some advice. I have 3 beautiful CB Dutch Treat girls growing indoors and they are doing well. I am hoping to transfer them outdoors in the next few weeks. I have just realised that we are getting 16 hours of daylight. We are in Alberta Canada and the cold weather can come in as early as late September. I was hoping to push them into flower at the end of the month and have just read that they need the light reducing to 12 hours and 12 hours of dark. Q. How dark is dark? Can I carry them into a semi dark barn? And if I miss a day will is make a huge difference?
yeah put them out in the morning, take then in at night to harden them up later when the light is 12x12 next week.? let them veg for 2-3 weeks then start putting them away in a dark closet at days end a barn is not dark? good luck
The plant will flower before 12/12. 14 or under most will flower. Check your sunset time then go back 12 hours. So if sunset is 8:30. Leave in barn til 8:30 in morning. This way you can leave them out all night if you have something to do and you don’t have to get up early. Also if you get up early with the sun put them out then bring back in at 6:00 at night til sunset then bring back out so you don’t have To in the morning. Auto flowers may be easier for your climate.
