Hello everyone I am thinking of doing my first grow but kinda lost on how i should go about it. i want to grow in my closet (well part of it anyways) for 1 or 2 small plants i was thinking about a 2ftx3ft kinda thing. I was thinking a 150 watt Hps light with a couple lil oscilating fans in there as well. since this is a closet i dont know how i should set up for ventilation and heat problems (gets from 75-80 degree's inside and 80-110 ouside lol). i think heat and air flow are gonna be my main problems. So any help on the situation to controll that kinda thing in a closet please let me know Thanks
If you go with low heat lighting such as CFL's or Fluro's you should be fine with a decent sized oscillating fan such as a bedside fan or a tower fan. I grow in my closet with both CFL's and Fluro's running and I never hit above 75 degrees F. I did, however, take my clothes out of the closet. At the moment they are on my bed in the room that the closet is attached to and I still end up walking around everywhere with a nice big sign that says "I just smoked some pot!". It' a good thing that the smell of shop overpowers the mild smell of weed apparently because I work with my dad, and he wouldn't be thrilled to know that I still smoke weed.
Haha well yea guess i didnt mention that, no im not going to keep cloths and junk like that in there, heat and cloth in a confined space seems a lil stupid to me and for Cfl's and Flurs i dont really know any thing about( mostly just Hps). Thinking of just doing a small clone veg area in there and have the main plant, so once my baby starts to bud i can take a clipping and start a clone and grow it long befor i harvest the moms. so any hints on the low heat lighting i can use on a small grow like that will be greatly appretiated. Use fluros, for the moms and buy a Hps for the main plant. Then you will harvest a couple of oz's every other month. So you will have smoke till next harvest.
