Well I'd like to start off by saying this is my first grow journal. Usually I just write in my personal journal. But figured, might as well post on here as get some good feed back. Most my friends know me as frombi or frombifide. I've grown in the past(indoor hydro) with a friend in Cali. That was probably about 4-5 years go. Now I'm at it again with a lot smaller set up(micro grow) due to where I live now. Well now let's talk about the grow ^_^ Oct 6- germanized 3 seeds(bag seeds) and transplanted into soil Oct 9- first one broke the surface.(seemed really healthy at first) Oct 11- had another break the surface. Sadly the first one to break the surface isn't looking to good. Seems like it stunted itself from growing. Now let's fast forward to today. Oct 14. It's been one week since the first one sprouted. Still don't think it'll pull through sadly. Pic below Here is the one that sprouted 2 days after the first. Looks amazing compared to the first. Now the next two pics were taken exactly 24hrs apart Clearly the 2nd one is doing amazing compared to the first. Hoping it'll pull through. If not it's ok I suppose ha. Now a lil about my box: It's 16x16x37 in. with one fan at the top rear to pull the heat up and out. And I have 2 cfls going at 18/6. With an adjustable chain to raise as they grow. It's not the best box, but it'll work for my case ^_^ the temps are 79-89degrees sometimes during the day it'll get to 90-91. If you see anything I need to add or any advise. Hi frombi, i had a seedling similar to that slightly unhealthy one of yours.. grew it out for the hell of it in a 2 gal container and it turned out literally under 2 inches in height once fully budded with about 2 spliff of bud on it, it was the funniest thing ive ever seen. Must have had massive defects but i liked it lol. Might be a similar thing, or might just grow out of it and get better. Im no expert though. But i have had the odd seedling have dodgy even once yellow hard little seedling leaves and after a week or so it sprung back into life.
should work. id consider drilling an intake hole for a pc fan in the very bottom middle. doesnt have to be on in the beginning. also id lift the lights a bit and the lift the cups on top of some books If the floor is too cold it will also affect root growth. but keep cfls 2 inches from plant.
It's hard to see but I have holes in the bottom sides. In between the heat shield there is about a half inch gap that passes air through it And I never though about the ground temp. Good call!! Thanks! Get high, Be high, Live high
That's interesting. Ya I think ima let it go and see what happens. It had a hard time even opening up for its first leaves. Sprouted really fast though Get high, Be high, Live high
Ya I have 2 different bottles I keep at room temp. Usually keep them near the box themselfs. Also can anyone reccomend some other fans I could use? Get high, Be high, Live high
Update- sadly idk if this lil guy is gonna pull through. Been 2 days with no growth. On my other one, I started some lst. Before I transplant it into the last pot it'll be in. Opinions? Get high, Be high, Live high
you should let that plant grow up for a while, do you have holes at the bottom of your containers. dont bug the smaller plant, you should get a cheap dollar mister and keep the top of the soil a little moist, so the plant has an easier time pushing through.
As in let it grow more before lst? Been reading a lot on lst, but this is my first Time actually doing it. And ya I'm not gonna bother the small one at all until I know it's gonna make it. Get high, Be high, Live high

Sometimes you just get a weak seed. try to keep an even canopy when doing lst, you want all the main auxiliary nugs to be the "main colas" But wait atleast a week-2 before you get to bending her
Been acouple days since I've updated. Well this is where she is so far. Looking really healthy and growing a new layer everyday Now my other one. She is starting to show some life and is growing some new leafs finally.(remember she sprouted first too) Don't mind the one on the right. That's my friends. But gives you an ideal on how much of a stunt it had between growths. Get high, Be high, Live high
Small update- well the smaller one that sprouted first is actually starting to grow now. Like what a month later? Lol Get high, Be high, Live high
I think what happened is the tap root started going down, then back up and made a loop with it. Took over a month to get it this far and it sprouted first. Get high, Be high, Live high
