Allright, this will be my first grow and I have a few questions before getting started. 1. How big, on average, will the plants get? My grow box will be about four feet tall...should this be enough? 2. I live in an apartment, so smell control is a big issue. What type of Ozone generators / Carbon filters should I use to keep the odours to a minumum? 3. I am broke for the most part...will flourescent lights be good enough? 4. How much bud will a three foot tall plant produce? 5. Here's my idea for a grow box, any suggestions? (IE where to put fans, whatever) I'm sure I'll have more questions, so I'll post them as I get them. Thanks guys.
(1)4 feet is more than enough(if you do go with the flouros).But with the flouros i wouldnt let them get taller than a 1ft, just keep them bushy. (2) HERE is a link to a DIY carbon filter (3) They will work fine. You may want to look into LST, because the flouros light wont penetrate the canopy much. (4) Really depends on the strain/ light/growing environment. (5) You will probably need a small fan blowing on the plants in each compartment of your grow box, + an exhaust fan to keep the humidity low(prevent mold).
