I've been growing for 60 days under this light and I'm super happy! Way less heat and I'm getting similar results to a 600 watt HID light! Can't wait to try again! Last pictures are the most recent. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I am growing 3 strains because I am bored. From left to right it's Green Crack, Granddaddy Purple and White Widow. Classic GDP can take as much fertilizer as I can throw at her, white widow not so much! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
This grow was a bit wonky. The seeds cracked February 25th and I ended up needing to move them around March 25th a few days before the isolation orders started happening. I moved them in -30°c and shocked them pretty bad. I changed their light cycle around April 1st but it was clear they had already switched themselves. I'm pretty sure the cold weather move is what caused them to flower a bit earlier than I would have liked! So they vegged for maybe 35 days. I've been feeding them like mad (the white widow is overfed at this point) and so far I like what I see all things considered! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
ok im trying to figure out my planning.... this is the first time ill flower inside... i usually used the tent to start them for outside im shooting for a 6week veg, but still usure if i should go more or less
They do seem to be fine! This is the first time I've ever seriously topped cannabis plants so I went a bit wild! Definitely wasted some energy but ah well! These are in 5 gallon fibre pots filled with a few different soils. I feed them according to the schedule I attached as a picture. Greenhousefeeding.com is the website. From the Netherlands. I have used all sorts of stuff but I keep coming back to this stuff. Since I use really good soils, compost, and worm castings, this mineral fertilizer regime seems to be good enough to make some nice plants! This stuff is nice too cause I can get it mailed for relatively cheap. Liquid fertilizer is unreal expensive to ship. Doesn't help I live 100km from the closest city! 6 weeks is plenty of time if you ask me. Also depends on your lights. If your lights are mediocre then vegging for a bit longer might be advantageous! Maybe 7 or even 8 weeks. Depends on growth! I typically switch to 12/12 on week 6. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yup! I had them all on the same feeding schedule but the white widow could not keep up! The ziplocs where just the strain names so I wouldn't forget which was which during the move! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I just checked your most recent post! They look to be on schedule! 600watts is more than enough! I hope those boards work out for you! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
what do you think about the layout i have in mind to train them to? should i go that way or leave the pot in the center? want to be sure to get the most out of my light and 4x4 area
Honestly if you train then you don't need to worry as much. Directly below the light should theoretically get the "most" light but if you train your plants then you should have a fairly even canopy that maximizes photosynthesis anyways! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Day 69!! I am still a ways off from harvesting and I'll probably be harvesting each plant at a different time but things are getting jungley inside! If I had to guess I'll probably be able to harvest my middle plant (grand daddy purple) in 3 to 4 weeks. The green crack and white widow are probably 5+ weeks out! Next time I will definitely be more diligent in training and trimming them. I maxed out my lights height and luckily I only had to chop one bud! Here is day 73! I'm clearly getting pant ants here! Just want to taste them!! I definitely over fertilized the white widow as you can see her leaves are looking a bit sad. I'm flushing the plants now and will just use water for the next couple of weeks! Trichomes are still all clear and underdeveloped!
