First Time Qwiso, How Did I Do?

    cleaned my grinder with 91% iso then soaked and eighth for about thirty seconds and dumped it through a coffee filter into a pyrex dish I had on an electric stove full of water on low. left it for about two hours then set it under a fan and until the smell of alcohol was gone.

    Looks like ya pulled a little too much chlorophyll. Also, you want to compress all that together, and heat it up and get it nice and melted together, it should turn into a nice golden transparent patty.
    Also, before scraping, you'll want to put the dish in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
    That will help with a brighter yellow color

    But it does look decent. Looks like my more beginner runs.
    My very first run was great though, actually, I got lucky and got a golden crumble

    You learn as time goes by that theres a lot of fiddling you have to do with the hash itself to get it just right.
    It takes trial and error. About 20-30 more runs and you should get a perfect method

    I use heat all the time. My alcohol evaporates in like an hour and a half, im always left with amazing product

    Well I usually get about .2 from 1 gram of bud.
    That's about 10 dabs in my book
    Its a lot easier and less sketchy than BHO too.
    I haven't even done bho yet.
    Im gonna try it though lol.
    I know by using ISO alcohol, that the taste is almost always the same.
    If you use grain alcohol like everclear the flavor transfers a lot better

    Does not need to be 99%.
    I typically use 91 and it doe fine.
    It can be 70% , but theres more water content in that, meaning it'll take longer to evaporate, and wont yield as much.
    But 70% is usually just fine
    91% ISO, or better yet, Everclear.
