Buut i was brainstorming ideas for my box and i came across some corrugated plastic. its pretty much like ribbed cardboard but its plastic. its a good insulator and we store it in a trailor at work that gets up to 100 degrees(i dont what it is in celsius for all you euros) and that doesnt hurt it but i was wondering if that would be a good idea..i read through the forums and hadnt seen it as an idea so i didnt know if it was a do or a dont. if someone could link me to a recent post about this or help me out id greatly appreciate it
How big is the container? You could probably wire up a bunch of CFLs in there, without any problems......
the container will be 4 (HXWXL) im open for any good suggestions on the lighting im only growing two plants to be 3-4 ft tall for personal. and im also on a budget :\
Depending on the grade and quality, this may not be the material you want to use. At my former job we had to order some corrugated plastic like you describe, and it's exorbitantly expensive ($25+ for a 4'x8').
We're probably dealing with different qualities. It's a good insulator of heat and humidity which is why we used it. I don't know anything about growing, just materials, so that's all the help I can give you.
