First time grower

  1. I have a 600w hps & 400w MH.
I was thinking of starting my clones on the MH 24/0 but thought the hps might be better for growth.
    Any thoughts?

  2. I'd stick to the 400w MH for veg

  3. How many of them are you starting? If you covering a huge area doing sog I would consider the 600. Otherwise the 400 is more than enough.

    Thanks for the help

  5. How do i clean soil to reuse what i have and should i add anything to it?

  6. Acid, what do you mean "clean soil"? I re-use my organic soil for years and years and years (I will never get rid of it) and don't do anything to "clean" it. If you are talking about soil that has been treated with chemicals, I don't know the you should be re-using it. If you're talking about organic soil, check out the thread in my signature, post #3. Welcome to GC and happy gardening!

  7. Day one waiting on 20 more clones before i turn the lamp on. Area is pest free and ready to grow.

  8. What's a good product that promotes root growth?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  9. Thanks.Anything else maybe not so expensive??

  10. What about superthrive anything good come out of that stuff? Just wondering...

  11. I use rapid rooter works well and use both lights for veg and for flower the more the better IMO

  12. A mycorrhizal product. VAM endomycorrhizae from BioAg. $18 shipped for 100g. Best mycorrhizal fungi product you will find. bioag dot com BioAg's humic acid (Ful-Humix) and fulvic acid (Ful-power) products are also excellent- some of the best humic/fulvic products available, and worlds better than what's available at the average grow shop .

Don't mess with superthrive. Spend your money on real-deal products with documented science to back them up. Typically, products that claim to be these "miracle products" that promise amazing results don't live up to the hype.
