First time grower with a lot of questions

  1. Hiya, this is my first time that i have grown, and i wanted to know if everything that i have decided to get for growing so far is okay to use. Also, what are the best fertilizers and soils that i should use. I am growing in a a nice spot in the woods because i still live with the rents, and i have decided on 5 of the Buddha Seed Bank: Red Dwarf seeds, which are feminized and auto-flowering. I also got a ph meter and thermometer. And i am going to germinate, then put into 5 seprate 3 gallon smart pots. But any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  2. Ok this is what I would do if I were you. Without having to spend a lot of money on soil mix up a bag of LIGHT WARRIOR and a bag of FOX FARM HAPPY FROG. You can use the Light Warrior to start the seeds in plastic Dixie Cups but in my experience the paper towel and bag method works the best. Put the seeds between 2 pieces of wet paper towel, and put them in a plastic bag, and put them somewhere you know they will stay warm, like on top of a heating pad on low or a fridge. Once the seeds have sprouted transplant them to Dixie Cups with the 50/50 light warrior happy frog mix and water them. After a couple days they should get their first set of seraded leaves but be patient. How well a plant is treated in its infancy determines how well it is in the end. Then, you can either plant them in a hole outside or what I prefer to do is plant them in 3 or 5 gallon smart pots and put them outside to flower. ITs still 34 degrees outside here so I wouldn't dare try planting outdoors right now. Outdoor season around here is April to October if we're lucky.
