I bought some Misty seeds from Nirvana at the city. YAY I have a first headpopping sprout. Planted it in seedling soil over a week ago, and now it showed up from the soil. Yesterday I planted #2, I guess it will take about the same time to sprout as #1. By the way the name is a coincidence, the strain appealed to me very much, it so happened to have the same name as me.
holy shit...i have heard SO MANY GOOD THINGS...and read so many good things about misty...how is your grow so far???where did u get your seeds??? how u have happy growing cuz they r awesome...well hope you can post some stuff up cuz i want to see misty all grown up...lol...well happy growing
You can buy them here at the city, from the Nirvana seedbank. I've also good things about this strain that's why I picked it. Nirvana also has a site of it's own... http://www.nirvana-shop.com/cannabi...ge/en?osCsid=ac8a30da88a4f478e87e4352e6aa1606 They have some very nice pics up aswell, almost all from professionals. Enjoy!
I made my first pics this morning, and I'm gonna keep taking pics of it! It's very fragile right now, so I leave it alone as much as possible.
I got it in a small plastic greenhouse infront of te window, so it can soak up a lot of sunshine before it goes underneath a lamp. It get's it's warmth from the sun and the central heating system at the moment. It's still doing very well, it almost grew an inch in 2 days. The two smooth outer leaves have opened up and the jagged edged little inner leaves are showing already.
YES!!!! #2 just popped last night! I only got two seeds planted at the moment, perhaps I'll put in a 3rd but I haven't decided yet. It takes a bit longer but I think I prefer to put them in seedling soil straight away to let them sprout. With the peat pots I can put them directly in a container without ever having to touch the roots. Okay sprouting the seeds has been succesfull, I hope the rest will be too.
HIGH All, O.F.F.F. to a great start Misty and am sure so will the grow. Looking forward to seeing your little ones.
Friday last week #1 sprouted, last mondaynight #2 sprouted. Now #2 is much taller, greener and has bigger inner leaves than #1. #1 stays thin, pale and seems to have stopped growing. It's not hanging or anything, so I put a very smaal amount of nute in the soil to see if it has any effect at all. I got my HPS last wednesday but I haven't gotten around to install it yet. It's weird tha #2 grows so well and #1 just stopped. Any advice? (yeah put the lights on it, that will happen asap)
Well here´s my first update... Both #1 and 2 are doing ok, #1 is still small but is showing the second pair of jagged leaves. As is #2 but those leaves are much smaller. As for #2 it has a very long stem but is a nice dark green shade, #1 isn´t as tall but looks healthy enough. I planted seed #3 on sunday, I hope it will emerge as fast as #2 in 5 days. It´s all slow growing, but I´m confident the plants will grow. I hope I can install my HPS setup next week so they can soak up plenty of good light. Especially #1 has slowed down it should be a plant with plenty of leaves by now, but hey it´s the first time I do this. I´m adding some nutes tomorrow to #1, maybe this will help.
You're fertilizing already? I always thought that when using potting soil u didnt have to for like 30 days. A major mistake by first time growers is to overwater and overfert. It says that like 10 times on every grow site i've read. Do what you will, you have been warned! Good Luck Misty!!!
I'm not doing the plants harm.... I gave a very small amount of diluted nutes once, and I don't give too much water. I switched from giving them daily a spray to every other day a good wet spray. I gave them some nutes to stimulate their growth because for some reason they stopped growing. Now they are on their way again. I'm starting to re-pot them today in bigger containers the seedling soil will be surrounded by coco soil, I hope this will stimulate the roots to search for the natural nutes in the coco. I guess it's all about experimenting and learning as you go. Atleast they haven't died (yet?).
Well i am certainly glad to hear that. I'm still waiting for my little babies to pop their taproots out of there shells. Most are peaking out right now, but not ready for planting yet. Keep us updated on your progress, i too am interested in how that strain grows!
This morning I saw that #3 has popped up, and it already has tiny jagged leaves!? The others only had their round seedling leaves.
