Hiya, Growing a blueberry and maui waui in a shed outside. Im in week 5 (day2) of bloom and I think I've broken my maui waui and the blueberry isn't doing much of anything. Planted coco medium with nothing added to it, using coco bloom nutes 400w light and heating. I overwatered for a few days and they were stinky. Then I underwatered to dry them out a little. At the same time I had some chaos with my heating and lighting set up because the temp swings in the shed are crazy this time of year so my min and max temps were 22 /32 for a couple of days. When i watered last night the medium had come away from the side of the pot and a lot of the leaves have gone brown and crispy. I checked this morning and the blueberry has dried out on top and is absorbing the water. The maui hasn't absorbed anything. The pot is still saturated and the leaves are a mess. Is there anything I can do to save it? The photos won't load but the leave yellowy brown and crispy af.
I'm not sure what's wrong with your plants. Sometimes the roots can get infected and disease sets in, or pythium attacks the inside of the stalks and the plant can't access nutrients (like a massive blood clot). The pictures you took are not useful because all I really see is orange glazed plants. Without understanding more about what you are doing, I can't help.
You can't over water a plant in coco with established roots. Coco basics: Feed daily to substantial run off........twice a day in flower. Never give plain water and never, ever let the coco dry out. Take your pics under natural light.......the HPS makes everything look yellow.
more coco would offer better insulation, yeah never let it dry out, cold then raise the temp also raises the humidity that increases a risk of a mold infection stay sharp
Thank you. I got better photos tonight. One plant seems to be absorbing water okay but it's the runt of the litter. The maui is looking so rough and doesn't seem to be absorbing anything in the last 24 hours. Very crispy.
