First official grow... I only have bag seed until I figure out what I'm doing... Then I want to try a kush strain???
You also may want to try something simple after the mystery seeds. Northern Lights is notoriously easy and typically high yield. Be kind. Perfect your craft. Give more than you take. We are family.
OK... I'll figure out how to upload later. I'm at work now... But I have 7plants in soil and 2 in hydroponics system... My biggest plant is about 8-10 inches... But my leaves are curly up towards the light???
Good luck. Sounds small to be flowering but that has more to do with the light timing. Sent from my SM-T320 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Curling of the leaves could be temp to hot not enough airflow or under watering are they thirsty? First grow advice and help encouraged and appreciated "Master scroller"
Just got home from work... Had to save my babies....... I think I have too much light Sent from my BLU STUDIO 5.0 C HD using Grasscity Forum mobile app
If you THINK you are in veg phase, you've got a lot of trouble coming down the pike. Please...do yourself a favor and get on the new grower threads here and read until your eyes pop out. You've got a lot more learning you desperately need to do before you put a seed into soil or whatever method you're using. TWW
I don't know squat???!!! I've kept them in 24,hrs of light... Sent from my BLU STUDIO 5.0 C HD using Grasscity Forum mobile app
. Hold on. No need to get defensive. If Widow is like me he researched exhaustively before even sprouting seed one. I have enough step by step grow guides to choke a rhino. That's all. And even the 24 hour thing is a technique many experienced growers don't use. I'm a 18/6 guy myself. Like to give my girls some rest at night. So TWW may have found your question concerning. Even on a 1st grow the life stages of your plant are something you should be able to recognize just from guides, other folks pics, etc... And him mentioning research... It really is just a time saver if you already know the easy stuff and bring the tricky questions here. I personally don't mind answering easier questions, but I understand Widow's point/concern. I would have simply phrased it differently. Be kind. Perfect your craft. Give more than you take. We are family.
P.s. Yes, you're in Veg stage now and should stay there a while longer. I'm seeing some canoeing on your leaves I think. Could be from too much light or heat or a few other things. Some strains do it naturally though (not many!). Be kind. Perfect your craft. Give more than you take. We are family.
I wasn't being defensive. I was just saying..... Yes... I do not have a clue about what I'm doing. I've just been reading and watching every thing I can... I'm a really fast and hands on person when I'm interested in a new trade or learning about anything. These are just bag seeds. I don't know what I have yet... This is just a trial... And I built my hydro system myself... Cost:$10 for systems... I've been interested for so many years but never my own secure place and no nosey neighbors.I have a lot to learn. I made that post to draw attention to myself. I have know idea what to do next...? Sent from my BLU STUDIO 5.0 C HD using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Its a lil hot in there... Fans at full speed... 400w- 100w... And some blue light to make plant greener... Is this wayyyy too much light. I also was at work all day for 16 hrs. Canoe leaves... 6am...watered before I left and raised the light another 6 inches Healthier pic... Just watered 11pm when I got off... bcuz they were bone dry after a light water last night and before I left for work Sent from my BLU STUDIO 5.0 C HD using Grasscity Forum mobile app
So temp you're looking for is right around 75. If you're not there +/- 5 deg, then you need to look at some way to cool it down. My typical grow, cause I'm not in a hurry, looks, like this. 3 day germ. Drop into medium. Run 10 days of 50-75%light strength while plants adjust and grow up a bit. Watering is around once every 5-7 days. 3 weeks of no nutes, but in a good starter soil, 18/6 timer. 4th week start veg nutes. Depending on size right around week 5 I start dropping my daylight on my timer for 1 hour each week. So 4-6 weeks later I'm at 12/12. Flowering starts almost immediately and I adjust nutes for that accordingly. Some folks go right to 12/12 anywhere from week four to week 8, but I like to ease the transition. Lots of ways to do it. It's all about preference. In floweing I'm watering every other day, watching for pests, maintaining a 6 pH in the soil. From flowering it takes 50-70 days to harvest (sometimes longer) depending on strain. I'll post a good harvest chart so you know what to look for. The whole way through you need to be monitoring for pests, root health, and PH. Nice and simple! Cannot stress enough the pH though. Lotsa problems with nutes stem from pH being off. Be kind.
