My set up: Two full spectrum 60watt bulbs I found. They were the best i could find here. All I could find were 2700k soft white bulbs. No 6500k. Reflective Mylar that I had laying around on the walls. Small fan gently blowing on the plant. Enough to where the plant isn't being pushed around and enough to keep the temp around 80F. Planted in miracle grow organic soil. I'm working on a budget so that's why a lot of my stuff looks rigged up. Any suggestions? I know its about time to transplant to a bigger pot too. Will be doing that soon. Lights are on a 20/4 cycle. Once transplanted should i begin 18/6?
It looks like a seedling, your just excited about your first grow. Come back in 5 weeks and we can give you some real tips. I started on a budget with a 50 buck 400watt MH i got from a warehouse. And made my grow tent with material I got from a thrift store. I went to home depot and bought two cheap bathroom blowers and rigged them together for a blower.
Just trying to make sure its healthy and looks normal for a seedling. Like I said I'm a first time grower and I intend to get things right.
Wait a week or 2 before you transplant (to at least a 1 gal pot) to make sure you have a decent root system, and 18/6 is fine till you bud
Updated pictures. Moved to a bigger pot. Still on the 20/4 light cycle. Will i need fertilizer for the plant if I'm using organic soil?
