Hey guys. I just became a legal Michigan medical patient. a few weeks ago I purchased a clone from a collective for 45$ (its that expensive because it was already over a foot and a half tall). My setup is as follows: -Large box with all sides (top and bottom as well) lined with reflective emergency blanket. -3 CFLs, the weaker kind used for flowering -Fox Farm Big Bloom -1 fan I am in week 3 of flowering and it looks great, It's crazy how investing less than 20$ in a micro grow could work so well. Please take a look at my pics below. Your feedback and advice is greatly appreciated. If enough people follow I will update with pics regularly.
your plants do look super healthy! I don't see any bugs or deficiencies or anything. I think 45 isn't too bad for a foot and 1/2..as long as it's not just stretched out ...and if you didn't get any bugs from it then that for sure makes it worth 45 lol. I sell ones about 4-6" inches high for 15-20$ yeh let's see your light setup plz. have you thought about cloning? if you snipped off a really low 4-6"branch( that will probably grow to be nothing anyways,) you could clone it and save yourself 45$ .. I'm just sayin..I'm all about the saving money on meds. Have you given any nutes to them yet?
i will post pics soon of just the box itself. the 3 CFLs are about three inches from the top of the tallest part of the plant. do you think this is okay?
I think you're doing perfect with the nutes. Try to keep as many budsites a possible 3-10 inches from the lights..anything over 8-10" away really won't produce much...If you gently bend down the taller buds and make the canopy more flat, then you can raise the whole plant closer to the lights and you'll get much better yields.
