First time grow

    Hey what's up grass city! This has been a long time coming. I didn't have much money too work with. This is what I have.

    Root spa black bucket setup
    Hydroton
    Gh trio nutes
    Ph up/down and tester
    Tds meter
    4 inch inline duct fan 200 cm
    Hydrogaurd
    Rock wool
    Small fan
    2 Maxsisun MU1000.
    I also have a little mars 300w eco that I don't know what too did with.
    Mjgrove cream caramel auto beans

    It was My first time making up soup and I'm doing best I can.
    I had someone's help but I can't say I understand it at at all really. I want to and have studied and bought so much lol.

    Day 11

    Major growth since feeding. Beautiful roots....stumpy lil guy buthe is ok. I changed buckets and have em feeding at 500ppm. Checking ph 2 to 3 times a day. Waiting for big burst of growth and playing around with some lst methods.     Maybe a bit small for 500 PPM's, IDK.
    PH should be 5.9, but my Barney Farms LSD likes 6.2 for some reason.
    Keep all light away from the roots, fix that cube problem.
    What kind of water? Tap or RO? What's the PPM if tap? And do they use chlorine or chloramines? You may need a small RO system. They are around 75 bucks.
    Does PH keep going low or high?

    They are both getting those spots. I evened on clean buckets and lowered nutes to right@ 400. Ph 6. Trying not to mess with them I'm concerned about those leaves. I don't want to kill em buy not reacting.     Right now is all store bought. My trap sits at 300ppm. I am looking into a RO system but I'm getting low on funds.

    What's ye water temp? Should be 69 degrees for optimum I think.
    No higher than 74 or you may get the root rot. You may have to run Great White or something like that to help with a higher water temp until you can get a chiller.
    What's the roots look like? Should be white as snow.
    300 PPM from the tap water may be your problem.
    Do you water em' from the top with Nutes? Could be water spots.

    There are some shit to add to the water that will clean out chlorine and chloramines. The chloramines won't dissipate like chlorine will and it kills my plants.
    Small RO systems on ebay are from 50 bucks and up depending on the GPH and how many stages they got.
    I got a 75 GPH 5 stage that goes under my sink for less than a hundred and a portable 50 GPH that I hook to a water hose to fill my garbage cans with RO water for the plants. It was cheap 50 or 60 bucks.

    Thanks I'll look into the ro I get paid soon. I fed into bucket not through the hydroton. Roots are just starting a lil brownish. They were white two days ago. Not bad yet maybe?I have hydro guard but that's for algea right? How often should I use the hyrdroguard.

    Day 15

    Even out pin ph now. I'm not completely sure I'm feeding correctly. The spots on the first leaves are still there. Route are good node spacing looks good. I don't know what to do about the leaves though.

    Use the HydroGuard constantly. Every water change.
    The HG is for helping with roots keeping them healthy.

    What is the water temp?
    What is the PH?
    Have you calibrated your PH pen lately? I do mine every 3 or 4 days.

    I have drops... I try to keep out at 6. Temp is 72

    Use hg with every watering at 0.5ml/L mate.
    It’s good bacteria, like yakult for plants.

    I'm not a seasoned veteran, but I had spots show up on my leaves recently... Judging by the way the leaves are kind of taco-ing, maybe the spots are just burns? I had my light too close to my plants and dribbled some water on them without noticing and got the taco and spot effect kind of like what you have going on. Like I said though, I'm not an expert, just going based off of my previous personal experience.
