First time growing, going all natural with as much sunlight, gonna move it into the ground as it gets bigger, probably round 15 days old now any comments or advice will be taken friendly, the seeds i have were given to me by a friend, apparently somebody left a whole pill bottle full of seeds at her house after a party and this is the outcome it's growing a lot of leaves as a baby, not sure if that's a good sign or what, guess i'll just have to wait and see the end product
first update, been awhile since i last posted in this thread... here's a baby for some reason she's not growing any taller, but still growing set of leaves....is she destined to be this short? any tips would be helpful here's a plant that almost died, trying to bring it back..was gone for awhile and this one got neglected here's updated pic of plant from first post up close of first plant, she's getting purple on some of her branches...is that a sign of frost? it hasn't really got cold over here at all, still summer weather...hot as fuck so would you guys conclude it's genetics? any advice taken kindly
i wouldn't stress it man, I had the same thing happen to my trainwreck plant when it was a seedling and in my case it was no where near freezing when this happened.
Try to leave your tap water out for 48 hours (open container like a bucket or trash can) before using it. This will evaporate the chlorine in the water, lowering PH. Do you use anything for lowering your water PH? Without proper PH, your plant will not absorb nutrients like it should and it will stunt growth or weaken it's immune system. This is a common mistake your first couple times growing.
Sadly this is what i mainly do, i use distilled water in bottles or take sink water put it in jugs and let it sit outside for a few days before use...i'm not home all the time though so sometimes my plants are watered straight from the hose by others i don't use anything to lower ph or anything of that sort, this is just purely experimental with sunlight, water, soil and seeds! just hope some sort of outcome is accomplished in the end replanted my plants...will post a picture tomorrow
it looks like those wood chips in there are doing somewhat of a good job....but yeah perlite would help alot
quick update: second plant, coming with lots of leaves better pic of it : updated picture of first plant
Yeah my soil was having a hard time with keeping moisture for some reason at first, now it's doing a lot better since i fixed the mixture and even added some nitrogen nutes, they're doing super healthy now #2 has perth in the soil to help hold moisture/spread it better, and #1 is a hybrid soil mix now
