yer gonna want to lightproof that reservoir or you will get a lot of slime and funk growing in there which will attack your roots. Try to keep that water under 65 or so to prevent slime and stuff from growing as well. They look good so far, adequate light, no stretching, look healthy. You will definitely need to add more light in a few weeks. I highly recommend a HLG panel, or get a spiderfarmer or mars. Throw about 75-100w of quality led light over that set up and you will grow some fat buds.
Yes I am already planning to upgrade lights..just have what I got to do for germination and 2-3 weeks growth. And I am blacking out the reviour today will post pics after thanks alot for the reply
Ok bad news..I just noticed a small layer of slime on my hoses..what should I do..I didn't think it would acire this soon..was planning to black out reviour today...ohh no I'm super nervouse now..
Hey man, not a hydro grower but I heard of hydro guard. Its a product you can put in the reservoir which helps protect your roots. As for the situation now you could put the plants in another water container while you clean the original container

There are a couple common ways to keep microbes at bay. Hydroguard is beneficial bacteria that gently crowds out bad bacteria. Clorox beats down those bad germs via brute force chemical attack. I'm a clorox user, 2 drops per gallon per day. Height might become an issue.
Your looking pretty decent 2 me! I would change a few things b4 it became a problem tho. Mainly, the top that your using to hold the pots in look pretty flimsy. Once those lil ladies start 2 take off, the weight of the roots sitting in the water will cause that top to either buckle or collapse. I'm truly diggin' the use of the aquarium. Just a thought... since you have the aquarium set up, why not continue? Add plants, some algae eaters, n some other tropical fish. I believe you can get away with a lot by creating a ecosphere. Has anyone else grow this way? I don't wanna sound like an ass, but I'm sure I've seen it done somewhere. Gonna do some homework n get back to ya on it OneDeeep... Keep up the awesome work tho... Thanks man..yea I just got thicker stuff..drilling the holes today And as far as the fish..they would need light..I just blacked out my tank ..maby I'll try that with a smaller set up with fish..I have alot of fish tanks...thanks for the advise bro

I've been using clorox for a few years now. The price is right compared to hydroguard. Chlorine is a needed element for plants, and they like it. 2 drops per gallon is pretty dilute. clorox will kill hydroguard along with the bad bacteria.
Oh wow you've got a whole little room, that's cool. If it was me though I'd have just set up a tent in that space

My advice is . Shop around for this Last time i bought it i got 100 feet of it for 60 bucks . You room needs to be light proof . Second if you have slime already in your hydro. Why not just go to soil ? No need to the hassle trying to keep the water cool so on .
