first time grow question

    Well I have started my grow and have a few questions. I am growing indoors and am using fluros. I have been following one of the grow guilds on here and have a few questions. The guild I was following, says after the plants get 4" high switch to hps lights, I am not gonna switch because of money ect. ect. After the first week do I start with the 16 on and 8 off? Is this the lighting scedule i will use for the rest of the grow? What would be the best fertalizer, is miricle grow ok to use? Sorry for all the questions. Any other helpful hints you may have feel free to add. Thanks guys great site.

    You need atleast 18 hours of light during the vegitation stage. Once it shows sex, or you think its mature enough to force it to show sex, you switch to 12/12 (flowering stage)

    Dont worry about fertilizer until its atleast 4-5 weeks old, I havnt personally used MG fert, but if your a noob, I would find ferts that "dont burn"

    Have read on this forum more than once: do not use Miracle Grow!
