First time grow, (greenhouse), any advice?

  1. IMG_0820.jpeg Hello, I have got 12 plants in my greenhouse. It is my first grow ever. Seeds were planted 12th of May. I wanted to use every bit of space I had, so I did not leave any space for walking through. Now I have to consider taking few of them out.

    I have few questions:
    1) I am in a middle european country. Plants are very big and I am wondering, when will they start flowering? I did some research, but did not find anything useful.

    2) Should I remove some of the plants? I am thinking of removing the 2 in the middle, because than I would be able to operate on all of them, when it comes to flower.

I am worried, that later on I could miss some bud mold or so, in case I dont remove some.

    3) Should I trim them somehow? Some of the plants are already touching the greenhouse roof. Should I worry about that?

I read, that removing lower (side branches) is good thing to do, because they use up a lot of energy and dont produce much at the same time.

    4) Can I use flowering fertilizers to trigger flowering stage? If so, which can I use? I dont want to order any online. I was thinking of buying some fertilizer for indoor plants in my local shop.

    5) One plant has weird leaves. I am putting here pictures. Please let me know, what is wrong with that and whether I should be concerned about that?

  4. They may be flowering now and that's the stretch. I want you top (cut) along the redlines now...even if they're flowering and you lose yield, you will have lost those nugs (colas) anyway pressed against top. Editting reserved for additional thoughts..
Fertilize now with a light application, any fert, seriously dont freak over this just buy some garden center "flower" fert in a small bag and toss it by light handfuls onto soil. You just top dressed early flower and are better than 80% of tent growers in the universe you outdoor OG you

  5. Is it too late to use net?

  6. Yeah sure you can try tying them inwards away from greenhouse wall, or use net...i dont see a net being better than just string pulling on them and anchored somewhere...a net will restrict ur ability to inspect and maintain

  7. Hang on ill share another trick
Put a stake in in the ground at angles and wire the branches to the stake...that's my pro tip, you owe me a kick ass song post

  8. Okay will do that. Should I wire them toward the main stem, when the brenches are touching the wall? Otherwise try to wire them more to the space, away from the main one to create more bushier plant? And what do you think about removing some of the plants? Is it necesary? I would probably move them somewhere outside, but the weather conditions arent that great right now in my country. Still probably better than getting rid of them completaly.

  9. The idea now is you have numerous ways to approach the obstacles you'll run into when you walk into that greenhouse from now on. One method will be best for a given scenario.im not standing next to the plant to help chose best move forward

  10. It is hard to see, where do you mean. I can take better pictures of each row of flowers. Would it be possible for you to show me on thoose pictures afterwards?

Umm and I dont really understand the last sentence. Can you reformulate for me, please? I am sorry, my english isnt that great.

Should I top them all to be in the same hight? Or just the tops, that are touching the roof?

  11. Which methods do you mean? I only see one option here and that is getting rid of 2 or 3 plants.

  12. Removal? Not to insult but any male plants? If only females U could take a bunch of clones to thin it out, along with some strategic defoliation. IDK the hours of daylight there now but if you aren't into flower now U should be soon. I'd try to tie them back before cutting but there's plenty of ways to get to the same place.

  13. Really? I thought we covered installation of netting, strings, or yo-yo's..and finally the professional method of a single stake per plant to tie to. You need further instruction?

  14. All of them are females. I won’t cut them down. Dont worry, I would not do that to my girls. I will be moving 3 of them outside, because it is really hard to operate there and even move there. It isnt such a big problem now, but when they start to flower I will need to check on them every now and then. That would be really difficult to do, since I can’t even move there.

Yeah I believe that they are close to flower now. I noticed rapid stretch over past few days.

I will have a look on defoliation, thanks for advice.

  15. Not really, I am just not so sure about topping them now, like you suggested before. I might try to tie the tops to something and if it doesnt work, than I will cut them.

I also wanted to ask, if I can shorten them pretty much anywhere? Or are there specific places, where should I cut them, when I want to shorten them? Thanks in advance!

  16. No you can cut pretty much anywhere, sounds like you're flying right now...good luck
