First time grow bag seed (any help welcome)

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Flyinstarhigh, Aug 25, 2017.

  1. Just trying out a few seeds that I've had for a few years. One seed I know came from a bubba batch, one is a headband seed and the other im not sure what it is. Not going crazy with it though really letting Mother Nature take her course, I keep them outside on my roof top and bring them inside sometimes at night. I planted them last Monday night a o they have about 10 days so far. The pictures are from the beginning to now. The last ones I just took about an hour ago when I brought them in side. Hopefully these will turn out to be some nice plants. Any advice is always appreciated. Thanks.

  2. They're drooping from.over watering/poor aeration and probably because the roots dont have much room to travel

  3. Ok. I try not to water them too much, I've been waiting till the soil gets dry on top to water and I was planning on transferring them to pots this weekend.

  4. i give a shot glass of water every other day. and mist a little daily, its a good method. one problem... are you keeping them outside? if so they;ll go right into flowering. its pretty damn late in the grow season

  5. Just during the day but at night I bring them in.

  8. Once I transfer them I will use good soil. I really wasn't planning on planting anything. One night I was really just bored and I have some extra time on my hands now that I got laid off so I tried to see of the seeds were any good. Since they popped open I said screw it im gonna plant these shits lol. I just grabbed dirt from our vegetable garden.

  9. Wtg my friend, new soil would do them good, they look great otherwise.

Check out my first grow log:

First ever grow: How do the girls look?

  10. If that's from your garden, time for some amendments.

  11. What type you think would be best? Me and my friends were talking and are gonna try some guano and mix it in with the soil once I transfer them.

  12. Imo , I would just buy some premixed soil formulated for cannabis. I don't think mixing in some bat guano would be sufficient. If you want to, you could start composting and building your own soil for a future grow, but by the time it would be done cooking, you'd be better off just putting these in a quality soil for now. But whichever route you go add perlite. A extra perlite won't hurt. Even in a pre mixed soil

  13. Ok will do. I'm going to see if I can do all that this weekend. Thanks for your help

  17. Beautiful progress for 10 days. My plants are a bit behind. (First grow, sun grow, started on 8/24 yes yes i know late af) Theyre on day 10 for me today but im only just seeing the second pair of sugar leaves pop out. Althoug i know where i messed up. Didnt put draining holes in my starter cups. And added little bits of water everyday the first few days. Theyre finally bouncing back from overwatering. Hope they grow nice like yours

  18. Thanks. I didn't put drain holes on the cups either but I watered them like once every 3 or 4 days or so depending how much sun they got or how dry the dirt would get. When I transferred them I used miraclegro organic and natural soil and in the soil I mixed in eco scraps organic herbs & leafy greens plant food.

  19. Two of the plants seem like there still going strong but one of the plants have taken a turn for the worse. One morning about a week ago I found the 2 smaller plants leaning over so I used some incense sticks (the ones you light) to give them some support. Now the night after it rained and I started seeing like a very light brown residue on he plants and I realized it was he incense sticks so I removed them and the plants were holding themselves up nice already. A few days later I notice that one of them stopped growing and the bottom picture is the result now. I'm thinking the chemicals from the incense might have damaged the plant when it rained but not sure what it could've been. I was thinking of just pulling it and tossing it. Does anyone think it can be saved or is it too far gone already?
