First time cloning ( 20 clones )

  1. hey guys this is my first time cloning, ive researched alot, i am very nervous because i want this to work so bad, i found a youtube video where a guy uses the same cloner and gets a 100% success rate, he uses 2 gallons of tap water and 5 ml gh micro and 5 ml gh bloom, the only difference i did was ph my water to about 6.0, i read alot of things about using T5’s, unfortunately i do not have a T5 so i will be using 2 led cfl’s, each one is putting out 15 watts from the wall, they are rated at 100 watts, they are about 3 ft above the clones, hopefully they will work, wish me luck guys and let me know any info for cloning, i would really appreciate it, also my cuttings were cut at a 90 degree angle and instantly put into clonex with no time wasted

  3. I use a kitchen knife and lollipop the girls before I flip them. I cut the clippings at an angle and stick them in peat pucks. Put in homemade clone dome. Keep warm and spritz as needed. Ghetto cloner at 99.98% success. Honestly I get too many and have to give them away.

  4. Nice!! I was afraid to go to a dome only because i know i wont be that great at it yet, but i eventually would like to try, i think a part of being a grower is to try all the techniques and training, the more you learn the more you know and the more you can help others

  6. It’s REALLY quite easy friend, I started out all freaked out using alcohol, razor blades, gloves, cloned etc...
I buy those clear shoe box size plastic bins from home dePOT and just flip one over on top of the other and et voila, $2 clones box. Just don’t give them much light.

  11. they look great to me. don't stress roots. they are alive. thats all that matters. as long as they are alive they will come through.

  14. I too use the oxy clone system. 40 site. Always rooted. Just be sure to watch the water level. Keep the stems submerged inside the water. I’ve had a few dry out and die from me not watching water. I’m sure it’ll do it’s job for you, as it has for me. Good luck.

  15. Thank!! Your awesome!! Glad to see someone else have the same system, how long does yours usually take to root? And what has been the best method for your clones to root

  16. Not a problem man. As far a MY system for rooting. I don’t ph the water, I cut my clones fairly long, cut at a 45 degree angle set it and forget it. After 6-8 days I start seeing root spikes. I dump the water, clean it out, refill ph my water to 6.0 and I add a bit of azos to the water. Roots love that stuff. They just explode.
