First Time Baking

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by MrOnio, Jun 5, 2013.

  1. Hey everyone,

Thought I would post my expereince with first time baking, as I read up a lot about this from various posts before I did it my self. About my self: I smoke like once or twice a month. Im not a big fan of smoking, so I was interested to try the edibles.

What I used was two sticks of butter, and made 32 cookies and 32 brownie bites. I read a lot about how you would want about a gram in what you eat, like each cookie or brownie, but I think whats key is how strong the stuff you use is. It ended up being about 1/3 a gram per a cookie.

Another thing I learned, less can be more. When I first made them I ate one and a third cookies, waaaaaay to much. Shit was coming at me so fast, seriously the most intense experience of my life, and I was doing anything I could to try to calm down. Eventually I threw up, then passed out.

I was kinda scared to try them again, but when I tried the quarter cookie, man, life is good for like 12-24 hours. One thing is, I gotta drink a LOT of water, as in about 6 12 ounce glasses in a couple hours or else I get stomach cramps.

As for the recipe, I just used some boxed recipes, nothing special. However, for the brownies I put blueberries on the bottom of the pan, so as it cooks the blueberries kind of rise, and some pop. After the brownies were done, I cut them up into 32 pieces and wrapped them in plastic wrap, put them in a big plastic bag and froze them. Oh and I put some green icing on them, because it felt really creative at the time.
