First time attempting lst

    hi! I’ve been reading a bunch of posts and tutorials on lst and it left me curious, can I use landscape staples or will it damage the roots? I saw one post talking about using them but all was said was that he used them and no comments after it talked about using them. I think they would be an easier way of pushing these guys down rather than using a safety pin attacked to my smart pot and wire lol

    Now next question.. I saw it on tutorial but can’t find it again and the tutorial I did see didn’t give just explanation. Once I bend down the plant and it’s tied down, what leaves do I take off? It said you want to remove the stuff on the stem to let the light hit, I’m working with clones and two are tops so I got arms and leaves all over lol
