Hey all  this is our first small MMj grow in our closet. We are nursing five plants back to health after a failed operation at a nearby friend's, and also planted thirteen unfeminized seeds (ten of which made it).

A basic rundown of the set up..

    Lights:
    • one 2ft x 4bulb 24w 6200K T-5
    • one 2ftx 2bulb 24w 6200K T-5
      • both of these are Hydrofarm lights
    • later on, some 400w HPS
    Growing Medium/Nutrients:
    • Happy Frog ! :D
    • Coco coir top layer
    • Fox Farm Grow Big
    • (FF) Bushdocter Microbe Brew
    • (FF) Bushdocter Kangaroots
    Plants:
    • the 10 seedlings are God Bud (BC Bud Depot)
    • 3 Roughneck plants (Centennial Seeds) One of these got topped early on, and the others were smaller, so are currently growing their 7th and 8th leaf set
    • one 21 plant (Centennial Seeds). This is the largest
    • 1 Blowfish (bagseed) kinda haggard :metal:
    • 3 random bagseeds, also have retarded growth
all of the plants that have come up are female, and they all seem to be thriving. :hello:

so far, depending on soil humidity, we have been watering every two or three days, using water with a pH of around 6.5, and a normal dose of both the Microbe Brew and Kangaroots, and nuted yesterday.

Hit me up with anything!! :p

    February 5. 2011:

Watered with M.B and KR, no nutes ! hmm what else to say...:p

  4. well try moving the lights down abit if you can. they look like they are stretching. other than that looks great!

  5. I agree with OrangeHairz, put your light closer because they sure are stretching.

  6. hmm im liking. i suppose i could watch these beautiful ladies grow up ;)

  7. Put a little lego man, or gnome in. Add a personal touch to the grow box. My gnome is pepe, the terminator of spider-mites and mold.

  8. Thanks for the advice :) We just switched around the trays so the seedlings are right under the 2 bulb fixture, and the larger plants all under the 4 bulb so they are looking happy :hello:

unfortunately i had to chop a branch from the top of the bushy Roughneck. It broke last week, and the surgery didn't save it :(

Otherwise, they are going to get fed tomorrow haha. Pics to come...

So the past few days have been pretty eventful haha. A day after we moved the lights around, the large plants got a dose of nutes yesterday (2.8) and the seedlings are still getting Microbe Brew and Kangaroots.

The large plant dyhdrated a bit Monday night but responded to the water and food within a few minutes and is in great shape :smoke:

All these photos are from the afternoon of the 7th, before nutes, I'm going to take more today to compare :p

EDIT: switching to macro mode for hte next photos

Just found some pictures of the plants in their youth, when they were in a wardrobe in a dorm room haha

the first photo is the topped Roughneck, the second and fourth are the other two Roughnecks, and the third photo has three 21's, any of which could be our currently largest plant.

  11. small grow eh, try and get those other plants as close to the light as you can so they dont stretch. also im not sure about a 400w hps for 15 plants

  12. yes we have them all on boxes and books etc to optimize light exposure.. What would you suggest? There are only going to be 5 flowering at a time or so, 400 isn't enough?

  13. ARE THESE SATIVA'S????? ~~~~~~

either that or stretched hardcore lol either way should haul some brains into the sky eh?

400 w HPS is more than enough for 5 plants flowering provided they are not shading each other, in which case you would need to flower them at 18 - 30 inches tall. If you plan on not having several colas by topping several times, then you should be happy with the yield letting a single cola or 2 rise. flowering at 18 inches can give you 2 ounces with the hps as close as you possibly can without your tips burning. On your CFL tubes those run cool to warm so put them no more than 2 inches from tops of vegetating plants. On your 400 watt have a fan right over the tops of your plants and you can keep that light 6 to 8 inches above tips. The closer the light (without burning) the bigger your buds. Just keep the room cool.

    Once bloomed 3.5 oz's on 2 plants with only a 150 watt HPS in a 2.5 x 2.5 x 4 box lined with mylar. with a home made ebb n flow

  15. haha cardboard boxes and books with paper... both are open invitations to mold

yes i know but we sterilize them before use, and change them near daily.

EDIT: the boxes are temporary until I find shelving or something

  17. it looks like your missing 2 plants, they are at least a foot from the light. 400w is enough for 5 plants i thought you were going to flower them all at the same time, since you just germed 10 seeds

  18. Hey all.
Got pictures of the updated setup we did yesterday. We got larger pots for the big plants and replanted them with more Happy Frog soil. We also replanted two of the larger sproutlings into larger pots. We have also adjusted for tempurature as we believed it had previously gotten too hot; it is now between 70-78 (F) degrees.

Note: In the pictures we have moved back the lights in order to see the plants better. The lights hang 2 - 4 inches above most of the plants. Peace! Love! Respect!:smoke:
