  2. How many plants? HPS for flowering, or red spectrum. Color temp 2700K for fluoros. I highly recommend HPS for better results.

  3. I have 4 and been using 24/7 veg with cfl daylights, and they are responding well.. Ive heard of suggestions to use a t5 for floral.. What's ur opinion

  4. T5 are okay. But, just don't have the power or light penetration. A 600w aircooled HPS will aid your yield exponentially, pays for itself.

are the plants showing sex yet? if not they are not mature enough for bloom and I suggest vegging them longer.

as for bulbs I recommend eye hortilux high pressure sodium enhanced spectrum bulbs. this is a special hps bulb as it also has a bit of a blue spectrum. this give you the best of both worlds. eliminating the need for hps and metal halide bulbs being used together.

hps will pass up a t5 fixture and more then double your investment and yield. t5s are great for vegitive but I suggest hps for bloom. also a 1000 watt hps ballast that is on a timer for 12 hours on / 12 hours off will only add $30-50 on your electric bill. 600 watts of fluorescents will use the same power as a nice 600w electronic ballast, but you will be amazed at the difference in finished product.
