i have a 2 by 4 by 5 grow tent im gonna have 2 plants in and i'm gonna be using a 1000 watt mh hid lamp with a 188 cfm exhaust fan (i know its probably overkill but i already had the light) is it bad to have that much light for only 2 plants? i was wondering if that is going to be enough to keep the heat in the room down, also was wondering what you guys do for humidity control because a normal dehumidifier won't work correctly right? and any good auto watering systems you recommend?

What is your humidity? Your light is going to dry out the air somewhat. If you can keep the heat down, everything should fall into place. I love growing with HID, fast constant growth!
I think it will speed it up or make it grow faster anyways. These are my five week old plants that have been on a 900 watt led
right now i have the plants in a closet just growing because my buddy actually gave me the plants before i got all my stuff shipped in so the grow is starting off not that great, and one of the plants is having a nutrient problem. but how do you get them so wide so short? are you just topping a bunch and super cropping? @Sourjackgrow1
and currently i dont have my hydrometer yet but i will keep it all updated once i get everything set up
Topped multiple times and did lst on them. Just switched to flower. I can count at least 30 tops on each plant
okay im somewhat a beginner so i was afraid of topping a bunch but this time i think im gonna try to just get as many tops as possible to learn. and what is the earliest you start lst?
This my fists grow. I topped them at 6 nodes and continued to top each one when they were ready. Got 16 on each plant that way and from doing lst there’s at least that many more. Plants are only 12” tall
thank you for the response, yes i am using a cool tube 1000 watt, how tall do you usually make your plants?, i was planning to scrogg mine around the 2.5 foot level or do you think they need to be shorter

how far do you think i should keep top of canopy from the 1000 watt in that size of tent? honestly i might just throw the grogg netting in there now and just grogg real hard from the getgo instead of waiting to supercrop
