First post-First grow, HELP!!!

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by sam1969, Nov 6, 2020.

  1. This is my first grow. I am growing 2 plants and i am not really sure about the strain.

Due to the small space, I decided to do micro grow And use small containers and fluxing technique by the lightaddict.

Can anyone help me out in my grow?

  2. Fluxing is one of the very best micro techniques. I find small containers to be inferior to a larger container that will fit. It is the plant that takes up the room not the container. So as long as room is already taken up by the plant, you save nothing by using a small container. That said, the plant doesn't care and will grow just as well in a tiny container, but it puts more responsibility on the grower to be diligent and quick to respond to any change.
Good luck. Post pictures if you have any questions. Include as much info as you have. If you have good light, you will get stoned.

  3. Dont know how I could help yet, but I'll be around ^.^

  5. Thanks a lot.

  6. i
i have just posted some pictures, i feel there is some problem with my first one.
Any kind of advice will be great.

  7. First of all, I'm dwc, so I'm not experienced in your medium.
Second, you need to provide a lot more info about your grow to get help.
Environmental conditions, what your medium is, what nutrients if any you are using, and maybe in your case the EC of your run off.
Again I'm dwc, just throwin a bone.

  8. I am using potting soil, nothing else and i will be using only organic supplement.
Such as used tea grounds and aloe juice.

Dont know much about the environmental condition and ec of the medium
As i have mentioned i am new to it.

More over where i live the climatic condition is not so extreme so i guess the environmental condition of my grow room wont get affected, if i am not wrong.

  9. No they are the mother plants.
    I have clones too.

  10. hmm they are not looking good. the yellowing and twisting sys they are not very healthy. they need to get some growth before you do anything. by the looks of them you could do well with just starting with new seeds or cuttings. they look weeks away from recovery. to be honest they have growth characteristics of a root infection. that thick twisted dark green on one is referred to as rosette pattern growth .

  11. compost tea is good but it will probably not be a stand alone full spectrum solution. not sure about the aloe but if that is the root your taking make sure to Do a lot of reading on what mineral nutrient will be most prevalent in each organic fertilizer. you need to provide the full 12 N P k Ca Mg S Fe Mn Cu B Z Mo
even if one is missing the whole plant will die .

  12. Which one are we talking about here because there are two plants?
and i have just watered the first plant(the weaker one)
And what are the things I should be avoiding and till when?

  13. I have missed manure.
I pre-mixed some manure in soil
And will be using it again.
And Yeah i am currently reading about it.

  14. both .the thick dark green growth. the yellowing between veins called interveinal chlorosis. . they look like the cutting that would not root. I would be really surprised if they had roots . I have had cuttings that just sat there looking like that until they shriveled and died .

  15. I am trying to control the stretch maybe that is the reason for rosette pattern growth.

  16. They are not cuttings.
They are mother plants I topped them and I have clones too.

  17. no rosette is an indication of root disease. there is no stretch as there is no growth. dont play around until you actually have plants to take care of. . keep it simple.if you top a plant you need s plant to .top. at least lest it get 5 or 6" and a few nodes.

  18. Okay
Actually i saw light addicts youtube video where he actually topped after 3rd node
    So i did the same.

  19. what is your reason you think you need to control stretch? plants dont stretch they grow . stretching is usually a sign of high heat.
