I dug 3x3ft holes in the sand and used a hydro medium coco loco so ph was already balance with soil so never needed to check well also live up north and have all spring water, used the 6 basic fox farms nutrients the 3 powders and 3 liquids my friend owns a grow shop and said he tried all the products and this method is one he likes the best said didnt need those new fox farms products said he really didnt see any difference when used them. He was right havent had one issue with the plants stayed very green and no damaged leaves. He told me to use this 100% organic leaf wash per-plus every other day once were put outside this will stop spider mites from laying eggs due to taking 3 days to start laying any and thought best to spend extra for preventive care rather than risking crop. This was my test year to see how well the plants grew using this way, next year will top and try other techniques to see how different the plant produces and grows compared to not doing anything to them. Now they been flowering for 3 weeks and even tho i planted and started them late they were planted July 4th and stretched to bout 6 foot i can only assume if started in may indoors and plant outside in June might have been alot bigger and filled out
on fb was in some grower groups and it seems like everyone always telling people to add this or add that but dont have to worry about it if you spend the money on good supplies and follow the schedule but this strain is a nutrient hog from what i've read about it. Im growing holy grail kush
Youre right just start out with the quality and youll get quality back. Everybody is going to have different methods and ideas simply because everybody has slightly different ways of doing things. Most advice should be taken with a grain of salt, at least thats what ive learned
