alright so i just planted three clones two days ago. two trainwreck and one afghan goo. one of my trainwreck plants didn't survive the trans plant but i still have my afghan goo and one tw. i'll have pics tomorrow of my two babies and i'll have TONS of questions along the way so HELP ME OUT PLEASE!!! I mainly just need to know when to begin fertalization and at what doseage. IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW IT ALL!! THANKS, JARED stay burnin and earnin!!
well first i mixed up the dirt about 6 in. deep and mixed in half a bag of miracle grow soil mix. how does that sound?
here is the afghan goo...it seems like it might be dieing due to cloud coverage the whole first week..does it look ok??
The AFgoo looks like it is underwatered? But the soil looks quite moist there... It also may not be getting enough light, but if its in direct sun even cloud cover will not do that.. When were the clones cut? And how long where they rooted? How long did they stay under lights? If you wanted to be safe you would leave those little babies under 6400K spectrum CFLs untill they are fully rooted and have grown some new growth. I actually rooted a clone about a week ago, and put it outside yesterday and it seems fine.. Assuming those clones have been rooted a couple weeks, you can go ahead and give them nutes now. I would use 1/4 stregth of a good veg growth nute, like Terra Vega by Canna, if they seem to like the 1/4 take it up to a 1/2.. I would strongly reccoment not going by the dilution rates on the back of the bottle of nutrients.. Always start of with 1/2 or 1/4 of that and work up.. Feed them twice a week, I like to do it on Wednesday and Sunday. Make sure to be very consistant, MJ loves consistancy. Now watch them and when they start to show signs of pre flowers, IE white hair bunches and leaves starting to get crystaly, switch your nutrients over to a bloom food, like Tera Flora by Canna. You have to watch them outside as you do not have light control over them. Also I like to use Rhizotonic for root growth. That has made the difference for me outside. Good luck!
thanks alot.. i guess i messed up. i went straight from the club to the holes i dug. that explains the death of my other trainwreck. the surviving trainwreck look like a beast though, so i couldn't have messed up that bad..or no?
Well I would not say that.. It depends on how long they were at the club rooting, or did the club get it cut the day before from a co op grower? Clones are fragile at first because they are trying to establish a solid root structure.. It is very important to let them establish that root growth and then let them grow a set of new growth before transplanting or moving to a vegatative room. I like to use 100 watt CFL's, you can get them at Home Depot. You are probably out of the woods now.. If you still have living plants then they are rooted and you are fine. If you go back to the club, grab a fast finishing strain (cause its into the season already) and take them home and put them under the lights for a week, and then set them in the pots outside for a week and then bury them into the ground on week 3. That will ensure you have adapted plants and you wont loose any. This is what I do, but I am near Seattle, where the weather is not nearly as nice as yours. (assuming your in Cali cause you said Club) GOOD LUCK!

I let mine root for 2 weeks before they go into a veg room and start getting nutes.. I use Terra Vega for veg growth, and I start off with a 1/4 of what it says in the bottle. Wait till next week and give them a little bit of something high in nitrogen that promotes growth, see if they like the 1/4 dose, if they do, raise it up next week.. I like to feed em on Wednesday and Sunday.. Hope this helps.
DAY 5 This is my grow spot.. tell me how you like it! THANKS! My plants are right by a creek! it's a mission just for me to get to my plants, so i highly doubt anyone will come across it. Here is the trainwreck at day 5.. looking great! This is my afghan goo. it is looking sooo much better! it can finally hold its self up with no stick! the only problem is a sick leaf i think it will heal right up in a couple days. Takes ten minutes to water my plants.. but 30 minutes to pick off all the spikes in my shoes!
I mean like mine are inside in a vegetative room and then I put them outside when they are ready and the weather is right.. I use the same stuff indoor as I do outdoor unless its in my small hydro unit.. I use Aqua Vega and Aqua Flore by Canna for that, but yes use the same stuff outside as you would inside. If you can goto a garden shop (not lowes or home depot) you can find Canna nutes.. That is what I use and alot of people that I have learned from in my area and it seems to do the trick.. Get Terra Vega and Terra Flores, use the vega until you see pre flowers then switch over the the Terra flores all through up until 2 weeks before harvest and then flush with lots of water and NO nutes. First i suggest removing those rocks they are adding heat. Second get a good hiking packback and hike up some compost, and mulch. As far as ferts, use what you want. MG will work great. Cheap and easy. Use half of what it says. Its strong stuff so go gentle. Next year really think about building the soil before you plant. Well they are not super cheap.. The base nutes are not too bad on price depending on size of bottle you get, but the additives are alot more.. I use Rhizotonic, CannaBoost, and Cannazym which is not at all cheap.. Here is a link to the Canna website, you can use this to search for a Canna dealer near you, and then call them and ask about pricing and such.. I guess for a rough estimate, I would say 50 bucks for a good additive and your vegetative formula ( I am guessing, I cant find my receipts at the moment) also the price is for the smallest bottle aswell, which is fine if you have under 10 plants. You can go cheaper and use miricle grow, aint nothing wrong with that, infact I have seen some really good Sour Diesel come out of miricle grow.. well shit i have some mg nutes at my house already but i really don't wantto use it. you and viper guy over here are some of the only people who say mg is a +. but holy shit those additives are expensive. i was reading up on rhizo and it seems like it works magic..what significant changes did you see with rhizo? worth it?
