Just bought a 400w mh/hps light. How many plants can I sustain under just this light and what kind of ventilation should I use?
if your going with 400 watts thru the whole grow and you aren't doing SOG or SCROG grows then to be able to get enuff light for good buds you wanna give a little more set up info...growing in a tent, using mylar and need the sides and underneath to insure that the whole plant is getting light I have done 2 great plants under 400 watss and 4 good producing plants although yield was smaller...........just insure ya are being able to supply enuff light to the bottom branches also.....you can also add in some cfl's to help the lower.....
Growing in a built in armoire style closet. Lined in Mylar with about 7' of height 3' of length and 6' of width
Right now i been vegging with 5 45watt cfls so I do have those I can put inside the plants to get those bottom branches.

what was your set-up under the 400? the dimensions you gave me are about the same as what I have for my grow tent so room isn't much a prob for 1 big plant...
