so i might be getting a clone from a friend and i am going to be reading up on everything but i still have a few questions. 1. i was thinking about growing in my closet. i heard you need to put tinfoil along the walls, is this true? 2. how many bulbs and what wattage for 1-2 plants? and do i need to change the bulbs per stage? 3. how long do the lights need to be on? 4. can i use a regular nightstand lamp with the correct bulb?
1. Not true. Flat white paint is fine. Mylar is best (purchased by the roll for a few bucks more than the foil). 2. I suggest one 26w to 27w CFL bulb for every 3 inches of height. Add a couple Soft White 2700K bulbs when you switch to flowering, but keep all your 6500K Day Light bulbs from Veg around. 3. 18/6 for veg 12/12 for flowering. You need at least 6 hours of light daily. 4. Yes. I prefer clamp light reflectors though. Cheap and easily found at a hardware store. You need to read more. The most important part of equipment is your brain.
Plus rep to 2lsc. good response man. he is right. i use white paint but picked up a 5x5 mylar blanket for 3 bucks. u could use the lamp as well if you wanted. but u can pick up those light reflectors for like 7 bucks each.. and they are pretty flexible so u can have them where u want em. GL MAN!
