So, i have recently started my forst grow(2 weeks ago) and im using really nice airy soip that tenda to keep moist and hold nutrienta well, i have an autoflower indica strain. Since i was a bit afraid of wiring things on my own (i have the knowledge i just dont wanna gamble) i wired up 3 deak lamps with 23 watt cfls into a timer which is set on 12/12n they have been growing wonderfully but they arent placed in a box. its just those 3 lamps pointing at the plant in a corner of my room because its a bit cramped in there otherwise i would buy a bigger box already. my question is are those lamps safe to use for growing as in is there any increased risks of starting a fire since they are desk lamps. i will post pics later as i am at work, and sorry for the long post, thanks peepz!
