  2. Thanks UF! I try to avoid overwatering since it's such a common newbie mistake. I'm very happy with how they're doing so far. I cant wait to see how much they've grown when I get back home. I also cant wait to switch them over to flower so I can see how they do under my new 1000w HPS.

  3. They are still so young, watering them every 2-3 days will be good.

  4. Good call, I checked the plastic pots after 2 days and they were actually still damp in the bottom so I was going to let them go for a few more days. I'm away on a trip currently so I did water my plants in the 5 gallon pots but left the 2.5 gallon pots alone. I didn't add any drainage material to the bottom of the pots.

  5. Looking great! I started with mystery seeds but for sure from all great strains. I'm using a combination of lights. They are so bushy I think I need to move the lights up. 15332379871171810466295.jpg

  6. Short fat and squatty all ass and nobody LOL
No no those look real good man you got some good-looking Little girls there. Couple bushes right there. But you'll like it though when you turn them they won't be as tall and they'll have a lot of buds sites.
Feed them real good give them water lots of light.
Do a little bit of trimming and training two or three more times between now and couple 2 or 3 weeks into flower and a lite one around week four or five and you'll have gold

  8. Man am I glad to be home! I missed my wife and boy like crazy!

The ladies did very well without being bothered for 3 days. The pots were all bone dry so I gave them a healthy drink until a bit ran off. Secondary growth on my champion Gorilla Girl is exploding! The White Widow girls are all looking great as well. It's time to start training them. I'll get to that over the weekend but first, pics!

  9. Damn! I need to start keeping a more detailed journal of growth! I've been so lax I cant quite say how much they've grown other than I had to raise the light a couple inches since last night!

Almost time to transplant, what do y'all think? 2.5 gallon pots were watered to run off last night so how long should I let them drink before transplant?

  10. Yo

Lookin super healthy and green dude

As for transplant I water mine the day before I transplant so everything is nice and compacted but not super soggy. Easier for me to get the root ball out in one piece that way.

    Lookin real good tho

  11. Yeah man, I kept reading and learned that I had to do it tonight since I watered them last night. I bit the bullet and made it happen.

They look fairly rootbound so I hope they don't get too stunted from this.

Here are the ladies after their transplant.

I'm interested to see how the mutant grows with two tops to start with.

Fingers crossed that the transplants went well.

    Happy growing y'all!

  13. Lol thank you Papa Puff! Perlite is super cheap I got this massive bag as big as me for 12 bucks. No reason not to get it considering how critical drainage is to healthy roots hence healthy plants.

For work I send so many of the same types of emails to my employees to tell them to quit it that I have quite a few email templates carefully written to spell everything out for them. I know the struggle of repeating yourself haha!

I checked them this morning. One looks slightly droopy so I'll see how she does after lights out tonight. We're approaching week 4 without any nutes in the FFOF so I'm also hoping the transplant into some fresh soil bides me some time until the FF trio gallons arrive. I'm hoping to be able to flip them at week 6 so I've got to frame and seal off my flower room then install a zipper door.

  14. Got the bud drying rack hung and some fans clipped to the t5 ballast for air flow to get this big ass pedestal fan out of the grow room. It was getting pretty humid maxing out at 70% so I hooked an air mover up to some 4 inch flexible ducting to draw in cold air from the basement.

I cant wait to flip these bitches! I have yet to perform any LST on them because I still need to to pick up some dowels and keep forgetting. I've got nutes on the way too because I'm sure they'll be getting hungry around week 4.

I hope you're all having a good time with me on my first indoor grow. I can honestly say it's been exceptionally rewarding thus far.

  16. Hell yeah man!

I'm pretty excited to see how fast these White Widows finish. They're supposed to be done in 6 to 7 weeks.

  17. Plants are looking good man! My ladies didn’t look that healthy on my first grow. You look like you know what you’re doing!

I read that you said you were going to get some wooden dowels so you can LST. Are you planning on using the dowels in the corners of your square fabric pots?

Have you seen my LST Stix? You don’t have to use wooden dowels. Plastic hangers work too.

  19. Thanks dude! I mostly just leave them alone and monitor the temps and humidity. Less is more I've learned from my first grow. I've learned a lot from your journals too!

Yeah I was going to put thick dowels in the loops on the corners or the pots. I saw those nifty LST sticks you made. I'll have to make some myself.

I have a ton of 14awg wire laying around that I've been using scraps of to hang ducting and whatnot. These ladies are ready to be trained so I've got some work to do!

  20. Hey everyone! I'm looking for some feedback here. I want/need to take some clones and am looking for advice from experienced growers to help me with my decision.

Two strains, White Widow and Gorilla Girl. Which plants to clone? I'm leaning towards the more vigorous plants but I've never cloned before. All input is welcome!

    Week 4 (day 28 veg)

    White Widow:
    20180807_200129.jpg 20180807_200137.jpg 20180807_200248.jpg 20180807_200253.jpg 20180807_200315.jpg 20180807_200320.jpg

WW1 is nice and tight with her nodes. WW2 stretched pretty tall. Leaning towards WW1.

    Gorilla Girl:
    20180807_200337.jpg 20180807_200343.jpg 20180807_200401.jpg 20180807_200406.jpg 20180807_200424.jpg 20180807_200431.jpg

GG1 is showing very strong secondary growth and is taking on a more indica stature. GG2 while fusing together the first node in a funky little mutation is growing two strong nodes and is beginning to catch up to her siblings. GG3 is similar to GG1 except that its growth wasn't as vigorous as GG1 in the first couple weeks.

All in all things are looking up!

    20180807_200607.jpg

    Happy growing everyone!
