I'm thinking about trying to do a hydro grow for the first time. I've been looking at supplies and stumbled upon this one kit I liked a lot. Can someone with hydro experience tell me if this is worth getting or if I'd be better just buying separate. http://www.caligrowkits.com/product6.php
Looks like a bargain to me Only thing is you will still need some fans, to cool the lamp and keep temps down Odor control stuff like that so the 299$ will not be the end of your spending GL
I'll be good on that I have done indoor grows in soil and I have an exhaust fan and oscillating fans and stuff. Thanks though
It's a very simple system. If I was looking to get some equipment (about that size), I think I would at least consider making my own. All you need is a plastic container and put some holes in it for your net pots. Cost ...maybe $30-$40. Starting out, I would not get the metal halide lamp, I would just get a couple of fluorescent lights to use for vegging, and then prolly think about getting a 600W HPS light for flowering. That will be the pay off rather than 450W they advertise. Of course then you would also have the choice of buying your brand of nutes. keylime

Will I be able to work with them since I have a little bit of experience?
